Moses Brown School will host New York Times bestselling author Mark Doty as its visiting poet on Friday, May 1 -- part of the MB Annual Poetry Series. A public evening reading and book signing will take place at 7 p.m. in Alumni Hall. Reserve seats here.
On April 27th, the entire upper school community will watch the documentary film, “I’m Not Racist… Am I?” In order to prompt further conversations throughout our community, Moses Brown has scheduled a second showing of the movie on the evening of April 27, at 6:00 pm, in Sinclair Room. Faculty, staff, parents and students are invited and encouraged to attend. Please note that while this film’s content was produced with adults and upper school-aged students in mind, middle school students are also welcome though they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. On April 18, 15 upper school students represented MB for the fifth year at the Rhode Island Science Olympiad, and earned medals in several categories. The Olympiad is an all-day competition at Rhode Island College, during which students compete to demonstrate their knowledge in a variety of aspects of science. Read more.
