Moses Brown welcomed new board members at the start of this school year. They bring a wide range of expertise to lead Moses Brown.

Jane Dietze P'20 '23 (center), a middle and upper school parent, is a managing director in the Investment Office at Brown University where she manages Brown's $3B+ endowment. Jane served on MB’s budget and finance committee last year. Her daughters joined MB in 2014 when their family relocated from New York. Jane brings two decades of global investing. She previously served as the director of private equity at Bowdoin College, was a managing director of Fortress Investment Group, and has several years' experience investing in and operating early-stage technology and software companies. She also served as an investment officer at the IFC in Albania, Macedonia, Turkey, and Russia and was a financial analyst with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York. Jane has a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University where she was an Olmsted Fellow.

Kaplan Mobray '90 (right) delivered a dynamic address last June as MB's 2016 Commencement speaker. A motivational consultant who works with Fortune 500 companies and as a brand coach to professional athletes, Kaplan has been featured on CNN, CBS, NBC, FOX, BET, Ad Age, Businessweek, and shared his message to NFL players at Super Bowls XLIV and XLV. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and College of Arts & Sciences, he received the MB Alumni Association's 25th Reunion Achievement Award in 2016. An acclaimed author (The 10Ks of Personal Branding), thought leader, career coach, and speaker, Kaplan also is a professional saxophone player and serves on the corporate advisory board of ALPFA, the nation's largest Latino business professional association. "MB gave me a great start and helped me shape my values for excellence and contribution to society," he says. He was president of the MB Student Senate.

Stephen Thomas P'27 '30 (left) is a current parent of two MB lower school students. Professionally, Steve has spent the last ten years at Blue Mountain Capital Management where he is currently the head of operations technology. He has been committed to involvement with MB from the time his family came to the school and he has a longstanding interest in Friends Education. Steve has served on the Trustees Committee since last year. He is a graduate of Westtown School (a Friends school in West Chester, Pennsylvania) and Amherst College. Steve is a Quaker and a member of the Providence Monthly Meeting.

Jim Procaccianti '76 P'19 '23 (not shown) has been an MB parent since 2005. He is president and CEO of Procaccianti Companies. Headquartered in Cranston, Procaccianti Companies is one of the nation’s leading privately-owned real estate investment and management companies with coast to coast operations employing nearly 8,000 associates throughout the U.S. While a student at MB, Jim began working at his family’s emerging real estate company. Since then, and for more than 30 years, he has been the driving force behind the growth of the firm. Today, Procaccianti Companies is a vertically integrated, diverse organization comprised of multiple wholly owned operating companies that own and service an expansive national platform that encompasses all sectors of real estate. Under Jim’s leadership the company has completed nearly 1,000 real estate transactions and has owned, developed, or managed hundreds of assets surpassing 60 million square feet with a historical portfolio value approaching $7 billion. Jim has served on MB’s buildings and grounds committee and participated in the MB2030 Forum. He has two children at MB, a daughter in sixth grade and son in tenth grade.

Betsy Zimmerman P’94 is beginning her own three-year term on the board after fulfilling the remaining year of David Holdt's term.
