12 Upper School Students Accepted to All New England Band Festival

Moses Brown School is pleased to announce that 12 upper school students have been accepted to the All New England Band Festival taking place on November 19 at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire.

Over 300 students from grades 10-12 were nominated for the Festival, representing all six New England States. Acceptance by the Plymouth State University music faculty comes after a review of students’ recommendations by their high school music directors.

The students participating this year are:

Grade 10:

Hayley C. (flute), Rohan S. (tenor sax), Evelyn McA. (tuba), Matthew J. (percussion), and Eli R. (euphonium)

Grade 11:

Abigail S. (trumpet)

Grade 12:

Nuri van D. (clarinet), Michael R. (bass clarinet), Evan D. (alto sax), Abby H. (trumpet), Lily L. (trombone), and Aunjoli D. (percussion)

The Moses Brown contingent will be traveling to N.H. on Sunday, November 18, with students performing in concert on the night of November 19 and returning to campus on Tuesday.
