5 Students Recognized in National Photography Contest

Five MB upper school students — Ben B., Lourdes N., Olivia K., Evelyn McA. and Vibha K. (work shown above) — now have their artwork on display in Drexel University’s High School Photography Contest. Their winning photographs were selected to be part of Drexel’s national photography exhibit, taking place online this year. To view the images please see the below gallery (click the images for larger view).

This year’s contest, the 20th annual, received over 2,100 photographs from all over the country and accepted work from 267 students.

According to upper school photography teacher Kristin Street, MB traditionally has had one photograph accepted in past years so to have five students recognized in a year is a real distinction.
