Every year, fourth graders embark on a learning journey through the diverse world of religions, culminating in the design of interfaith centers they develop in groups taking into consideration everything that they have learned. This isn't just about memorizing names and dates – it's about uncovering threads that connect us all.

A unique partnership between Moses Brown School and snowboard company Gilson Snow (co-founded by Nick Gilson ‘07) continues to ignite creativity and real-world learning. This multi-year collaboration, which began in 2020, has seen students engage in market research, fundraising, social media campaigns, and now, product development.
First grade has become pen pals with peer students at Carlthorp School in Santa Monica, California. Students are learning about the parts of a letter structure, how to format one, and crafting what to say.

In early December, the upper school Literature of War class went on its annual trip to Washington, DC to perform service work to assist veterans and to visit some of the city's war memorials, museums, and other locations that support their learning.

Fourth graders at Moses Brown School recently transformed their classroom into a high-stakes political arena, lobbying for the future of energy in the United States. Armed with research and persuasive pitches, these young leaders debated the merits of coal, natural gas, wind, solar, and nuclear power.
The upper school class “Moby-Dick Today” spends a semester immersed in the study of Herman Melville’s 1851 encyclopedic masterpiece, Moby-Dick.
The Class of ’48 Awards for Independent Study and Inquiry, established through a 50th reunion class gift, supports student-led projects that foster experiential learning. Four seniors were recipients of awards in 2024, and they presented projects ranging from child development and health to global stewardship on Monday, December 2 in Moses Brown’s Glendinning Hall.
Thirteen MB student musicians took part in this year’s All New England Band Festival, an annual event that brings together students from across the region. This year, the festival took place on Monday, November 25 at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire.
