Jace Goldstein '25, a senior at Moses Brown, has been awarded a $15,000 scholarship, securing third place in the highly competitive 2025 Transform RI Scholarship Program. The Moses Brown community is buzzing with excitement as alumna Manya Glassman ’15 celebrates a remarkable achievement: her short film, "How I Learned to Die," was the first to have been officially selected in the shorts category at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival. Adding to our pride about the film written, directed, and produced by Manya and executive produced by legendary director Spike Lee, current Moses Brown student Lola D. ’26 delivers a starring performance in the film. Angel T. ‘25 is also featured in a named role, along with other MB students and alums who served as extras during the filming.
The halls of Burnham House became a vibrant canvas this spring as sophomore English students embarked on a unique artistic project. Tasked with exploring the deep-seated relationship between poetry and visual art, students created window installations inspired by a diverse selection of poems.
Moses Brown Honors French students have demonstrated exceptional linguistic prowess, with several earning top honors in the prestigious Le Grand Concours, a national French competition. The annual event challenges students in grades 1-12 across all 50 states and abroad with a comprehensive written examination, pitting them against peers at similar levels.

The Visual Art Department at Moses Brown School is celebrating the remarkable achievements of its students in two prestigious congressional art competitions: the Senator Jack Reed Art Competition and the Congressman Gabe Amo Art Competition.
Seventh graders are studying the Flint water crisis through a multidisciplinary and multi-week unit, an annual project for the class. The Flint water crisis was a public health crisis from 2014 to 2019 which involved the drinking water for the city of Flint, Michigan, being contaminated with lead and possibly Legionella bacteria.
