Middle school teacher Jon Gold co-authored the article "A Decision Tree to Guide Student AI Use" with Jen Stauffer who teaches science at Hopkins School in New Haven, CT. The story, which was published in the online journal edutopia, begins: "All of the excitement and trepidation about generative artificial intelligence (AI) has led to thorny questions for teachers, perhaps none more pressing than whether, when, and how to allow student use of AI tools."
