On April 6, the Middle School Ethics Bowl team competed in the 3rd Annual Middle School Regional Ethics Bowl at Harvard University. These students collaborated with peers from Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York schools to tackle challenging ethical dilemmas including scenarios about artificial intelligence, invasive species, and inclusivity. Students had to think on their feet as they presented arguments, asked questions to dig deeper into the conflicts and connect the issues to ethical frameworks that they had learned about in their preparation practices. The winning team, including two Moses Brown students, consisted of students from three schools. Thank you to the Harvard Graduate School of Education for hosting the event and to all who participated!
