Admission Process

Your journey to Moses Brown is more than a series of steps — it is an invitation to share who you are and discover who you can become. We view the application process as collaborative, and we look forward to discovering your child’s unique story, passions, and potential.

Now Accepting Applications for Fall 2027!

We accept both the Moses Brown School application and the Standard Application Online (SAO) (1st through 12th grades). If you are completing the SAO, you must also create a Blackbaud account in order to receive your admission decision. The application fee is $55, and may be waived in cases of demonstrated financial need.

Important Dates & Deadlines

Applicants who wish to be considered during the priority round must have all required checklist items completed by the following dates. After January 15, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis if and as space allows.

Moses Brown remains committed to working with fellow Providence-area independent schools to ensure that our admissions timelines prioritize families, providing them with stability, predictability, and genuine choice.  We believe a thoughtful and consistent process ensures that families can:

  • Experience each school fully through visits, interviews, and events,
  • Gather comprehensive information before making a decision, and
  • Confidently choose the best environment for their child.

To help accomplish these objectives, we are moving our application deadline to January 15.
