Remembering Former MB Faculty Member Barbara Heavers

We are saddened to share the passing of longtime faculty member Barbara Heavers, who spent 17 years at MB as a biology teacher, science chair, and parent to three MB alumni: Kate '92, Nate '96, and Ian '97. Per the family wishes, all friends and former students are invited to celebrate her life at a Memorial Meeting for Worship on August 22. Please view her obituary for complete details.

MBAA Alumni Gathering in Los Angeles

Meg Gibson Wheeler ’02, MBAA recording clerk, and the national committee are hosting a social for MB alums & friends at Cara Cara, the rooftop restaurant at the Downtown L.A. Proper Hotel. This is a chance for West Coast Quakers to reconnect, swap stories, and reminisce about our days on Lloyd Avenue — all while enjoying drinks, light bites, and rooftop views of the city.
