The Evening of Advocacy: Connecting Friends and Refugees
The Evening of Advocacy: Connecting Friends and Refugees is a partnership celebration and fundraiser between members of the Moses Brown community and Refugee Dream Center’s Youth Mentorship program.
Thursday, April 4
We will have an Open Mic Talent Show and speakers who will talk about the Youth Program, immigration/refugee issues today, and political advocacy.
Everyone is welcome to bring their families and cultural potluck food.
100% of the money collected at the event will be donated to the Refugee Dream Center in Providence, founded and directed by the MB lower school parent Omar Bah. There is a suggested Donation of $5, but we invite you to donate more if you are inspired to do so.
Anything and everything helps!
