Information for Travelers
The RI Department of Health requires a 10-day quarantine for those traveling back to RI from outside the United States. Quarantine may be shortened to seven days for international travelers who obtain a negative result from a test taken at least five days after arrival.
Those traveling back to RI from a state with a positivity rate greater than 5% (an updated list of those states can be found here) must quarantine for 10 days or provide proof of a negative test taken after arrival or within 72 hours before arrival.
Moses Brown is asking all community members who travel to complete the RI Travel Compliance Form and submit it to a school nurse prior to returning to MB’s campus. New: The travel form does not need to be submitted for anyone who has been positive within the past 90 days or whose return from travel is more than 14 days since their final vaccination dose.
Also new: Those who have been vaccinated can enter RI after domestic or international travel without quarantining or getting a negative test, provided that the final vaccine dose was received within the preceding 90 days and not less than 14 days since last exposure or travel.
