Alison Anderson is Moses Brown’s full-time Learning Specialist for Middle and Upper Divisions. In addition to coordinating accommodations for students with learning differences, Alison also provides professional development to faculty and consults with families to help reinforce learning strategies at home. When working with students, Alison prioritizes the development of executive functioning skills and strategies to help all students become confident self-advocates and independent learners.
Alison’s background in Speech and Language Pathology contributes to her expertise in supporting students with a variety of learning challenges including language-based learning, social pragmatics, and executive function and regulation difficulties. Alison is a well-known and respected clinician in the Providence area, having been a resource to many schools as a private practitioner for years.
