MB Hockey Plays at the Dunk for Epilepsy Awareness
This December, the MB boys hockey team played Portsmouth Abbey at the Dunkin Donuts Center in downtown Providence. The game was a special one: MB played to raise awareness for epilepsy, a condition that affects millions and hits close to home for the team.
Tickets for the game included admission to the Providence Bruins vs. Toronto game which followed the MB/Abbey game. It also involved a partnership between students from Moses Brown and Providence Career Technical Academy. MB filmmakers Emma and Gabe worked with their peers at PCTA, collaborating to create all of the graphics for the game.
The MB team also fundraised leading up to the game, raising a total of $1,122 for the Epilepsy Foundation of New England.
More than 150 MB fans turned out to support the team and support this good cause. Thanks, Quaker Nation!
