Nomination Criteria (not every criteron applies to each award)
The candidate should have attained success or should have been acknowledged for achievement in their chosen field.
The candidate should have been involved in some charitable activities.
There should be some civic involvement in which the candidates participated.
An individual might have attained some success or a particular achievement in an area outside of his chosen field.
Personal qualities and characteristics of an individual will be considered. A person is admired or whose lifestyle demands great respect might also be acknowledged.
Some consideration will be given to the individual's relationship with Moses Brown. The importance of this relationship should be flexible, depending on other criteria.
The Athletic Hall of Fame Committee seeks to recognize alumni and others who, through outstanding performance, and achievement in the field of athletics, have brought special honor to Moses Brown School.

The Outstanding Young Alumnus/a Award
The Outstanding Young Alumnus/a Award honors a recent alumnus for outstanding accomplishments and service in his or her professional, personal, or civic life. His or her achievements inspire young alumni and bring honor to Moses Brown.
The 25th Reunion Alumnus/a Achievement Award
Since 1966, the Moses Brown Alumni Association has presented the Alumni Achievement Award to a member of the 25th Reunion Class in recognition of professional excellence and outstanding service to the community.
Moses Brown School Alumnus/a Service to Alma Mater Award
The Moses Brown Alumnus/a Service to Alma Mater Award recognizes an alumnus for outstanding service to Moses Brown School. His or her voluntary contributions have been long term, extend beyond the work of most volunteers, and speak to MB's proud tradition of service to community. His or her work not only has forwarded the mission of Moses Brown School, but also has made a lastly difference in the community.
The Distinguished Alumnus/a Award
The Distinguished Alumnus/a Award recognizes an alumnus for significant, long-term success in personal and professional achievements, who has made outstanding contributions to his or her profession and has rendered distinguished service to the public welfare, thus honoring Moses Brown School.
Faculty Member of the Year
Each year, the Moses Brown Alumni/ae Association honors a member of the current faculty for his or her impact on the school community. Chosen from many fine teachers, the recipient is recognized as an outstanding professional, educator, mentor, and friend.
