Parent Diversity Committee

PDC Mission

The Moses Brown Parent Diversity Committee (PDC) collaborates to make connections within the diverse parent and student body to foster a stronger community.  We share our many perspectives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion at Moses Brown School. All are welcome to join a diverse group of parents who are interested in supporting and nurturing diversity at Moses Brown.

The PDC acts as a resource while supporting the diversity, equity, and inclusion work of Moses Brown's Admissions Team, Administration, and All School Diversity Committee.  Currently, 28% of Moses Brown families identify as diverse, using the Moses Brown definition of diversity as “a series of identities including abilities/disabilities, socio-economic background, ethnicity, gender, language, race, religious preference, and sexual orientation”.  The School recognizes that every member of the Moses Brown community is identified in each of these ways and, as a school, Moses Brown is greatly enriched by this diversity.

Meetings

The MB Parent Diversity Committee meets monthly. All meetings with details can be found on the MyMB Calendar.
