Pumpkin Fest 2021
This Thursday, October 28 (3:15-4:15), Moses Brown will welcome the return of …. Pumpkin Fest! Pumpkin Fest is a fun chance for students to carve and decorate pumpkins as a lower school community and will take place on the Front Circle this year. MB’s annual pumpkin carving bash is hosted by Head of School Matt Glendinning (who loves carving pumpkins and started the tradition when he arrived at MB).
Note: This an optional after-school event. All parents are welcomed!
For children to attend and participate, a parent/guardian is required to accompany, unless a child is already part of Extended Day (who will attend with X-Day staff). Students should be picked up and brought to Pumpkin Fest by a parent. If coming, please plan to arrive at 3:15 or after to park on or off campus (arriving earlier will make it challenging to drive or park on campus with dismissal).
Materials will be provided. Families are invited to bring a pumpkin (or three!) and a box to bring it home in. If you do not have a pumpkin, they will be provided by the school at no cost. There is no need to bring any decorating or carving materials.
MB After 3 will run on a normal schedule on Thursday; due to the timing, MB After 3 students will not be able to participate in Pumpkin Fest. If you would like to pick up your child rather than have them participate in MB After 3, please contact email@example.com.
Finally, children are welcome (but not required) to wear Halloween black and orange colors to school on Thursday as well as to this event!
Lower school parents, hope to see you Thursday!
