It was a pleasure to welcome so many alumni back to campus early this May for Reunion. Thank you to all who joined in!
Members of our 2/7 classes, and friends, joined together at MB’s first in-person Reunion since 2019. The Moses Brown Alumni Association recognized Hyun Kim ’97 (25th Reunion Achievement Award), Paul Maeder ’72 (Distinguished Alumnus), and Joyce Champlin Freeman (Faculty/Staff Member of the Year) and the Athletic Hall of Fame inducted several new members. Many former students also turned out for the dedication of the King B. Odell Archives and Reading Room; your presence made this a very special occasion for Doc’s first trip back to campus in some time.
Torsten Freund ’92 (right), who came to MB in his senior year as an exchange student from Denmark, hasn’t stepped foot on campus since graduation and even came to Reunion this year, all the way from Copenhagen, enjoying the chance to share experiences with his nephew Thure who is here this year as an exchange student, following in his footsteps.
Many thanks to all the class committees for their work and outreach to bring everyone together. Special thanks to MBAA Clerk Dave Murphy ’91, Asst. Clerk Jason Engle ’98 and Hall of Fame Clerk Phil Zexter ’81 and the Hall of Fame Committee for their wonderful presentations. It was a pleasure to be able to welcome so many back to MB and share in the memories of this year’s class celebrations. We hope you enjoyed the event and are so grateful for alumni’s ongoing support of this incredible Moses Brown tradition.
