Student Artists Honored with Prestigious Scholastic Art Awards

Moses Brown is proud to announce two students receiving 2023 Rhode Island Scholastic Art Awards. The Scholastic Art Awards are a national arts awards competition presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. The Alliance is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to identify students with exceptional artistic and literary talent and present their remarkable work to the world. The artworks of the winners were recognized within the northeast regional division and were considered for Gold Key, Silver Key, and Honorable Mention placements. 

The following students were honored with this prestigious achievement in the arts:

Lulu Lyu ’23

Lulu received three silver keys, two gold keys, as well as a gold Portfolio for Drained. Gold key and portfolio winners will go on to a national competition at the end of March for national recognition and a chance at scholarships.
