With three counselors and an office coordinator, college counseling is highly personalized at Moses Brown. Counselors host college representatives–and visit campuses themselves–to gain firsthand knowledge of the schools they recommend for MB students. Counselors encourage young people to reflect deeply about their values, priorities, and talents to identify institutions that best match their interests and goals.
Whether our students choose to enroll in one of the nation’s leading liberal arts colleges, public flagship universities or premier research universities, or leading programs in a specialized discipline, the college options for Moses Brown graduates are as broad and diverse as our students’ talents and interests.
To be best positioned for the college process, tenth graders continue to focus on embracing academic opportunities, taking appropriately challenging courses, and identifying activities they genuinely find interesting and fulfilling. This development will result in a profile that authentically supports their college applications. Sophomores receive an introduction to standardized testing with the PSAT in October, and presentations and workshops specifically designed with the audience in mind help students and parents understand what to expect in the years ahead.Inquire
