10th Grade

Math

Tenth grade students at Moses Brown typically enroll in Algebra II. In addition, they learn computer programming with Python (a popular programming language), and how it can be used as a tool for computational thinking and mathematical discovery. Some students enroll in Geometry or Precalculus, depending on previous coursework.

At every upper school grade level, students are invited to participate in mathematics outside of the classroom including competing on the Upper School Math Team, representing our school in the New England Math League, participating in the annual American Mathematics Competition, and serving as a peer tutor.
