With three counselors and an office coordinator, college counseling is highly personalized at Moses Brown. Counselors host college representatives–and visit campuses themselves–to gain firsthand knowledge of the schools they recommend for MB students. Counselors encourage young people to reflect deeply about their values, priorities, and talents to identify institutions that best match their interests and goals.
Whether our students choose to enroll in one of the nation’s leading liberal arts colleges, public flagship universities or premier research universities, or leading programs in a specialized discipline, the college options for Moses Brown graduates are as broad and diverse as our students’ talents and interests.
Twelfth graders work one-on-one with counselors to identify, research, and apply to the institutions that are likely to be the best fit for that student’s abilities and interests. Counselors assist students in developing a college list and application timeline, and provide support on all elements of the application process. Students form close relationships with their counselor as they reach this milestone. Having engaged in a multi-year process of self-discovery results in confidence as students make decisions about which great school they ultimately want to attend.Inquire
