5th Grade

TRIPs

There’s nothing quite like seeing things for yourself.  That’s why every grade at Moses Brown has multiple age-appropriate travel and immersion experiences, bringing our classrooms to the world and the world to our classrooms.

Fifth grade culminates with a 4-day trip to Washington, D.C. to visit historically significant civil rights sites like the United States Institute of Peace, the Washington Memorial, and the Frederick Douglass National Historic Site.  This trip both brings their classroom experience to life in vivid and unforgettable ways, and highlights for children that they are ready for bigger things, including middle school.
