Fifth graders participate in a variety of games, activities, and sports to develop specific skills and to learn basic rules of sport. They play volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, pickle-ball, and basketball. After plenty of time to get familiar, try it out, and practice, children participate in a round robin tournaments, working to do their personal best, support teammates, and practice the emotional management and resilience inherent in winning and losing with grace.
