Nursery

Library

Nursery students see the lower school librarian each week for story time.  Along the way, they learn strategies that pave the way for reading.  Through nursery rhymes, observations about narrative structure, and improvisatory play with puppets, we build children’s understanding of form and syntax.

Children learn how libraries are organized, how to care for books, and how to find things they will enjoy.
