Winter Athletics Post-Season Round-Up

For many of our winter athletes, their season is NOT over! They are about to compete in some very exciting post-season contests. Check out what’s next for our teams this season!

GIRLS SWIMMING
This small but mighty team recently placed 5th in the Division II Championship. Next: Several of our swimmers have qualified to compete in the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP this Saturday at Brown University at 2:00pm.

BOYS SWIMMING
With a regular season record of 3-2, the MB boys swim team was a #3 seed in the Division II Championship. The team received the bronze medal at the Divisional meet. Next: They are on to the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP this Saturday at Brown University at 9:00am.

INDOOR TRACK
At the State Championship, our girls tied for 2nd place (tying our best finish ever), and our boys finished in 5th (the best team finish since placing 2nd at the 1966 state championships). Next: Catch 12 MB track athletes this Saturday at the New England Indoor Track Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston at 12:00pm.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
MB went undefeated in the regular season, and made it to the Division Championship for the first time since 2018. Next: MB will play in the the Elite Eight this Saturday night at 6:00pm at Rhode Island College vs. Rogers High School.

GIRLS ICE HOCKEY
MB is currently in 2nd place in Division I, and have a bye in the first round of playoffs. Next: MB will play in the ‘Frozen Four’ next Friday night, March 10th at 8:00pm at Providence College against the winner of Pilgrim and Burrillville.
